Joining the ranks of Governor Gary Herbert; Jerry Stritzke, CEO & President of REI; and a host of outdoor experts including Leslie Prevish, Stacy Bare, Kelly Bricker, Kenji Haroutunian, Jim Sayer, and Ivan Levin, eSpokes was thrilled to be a part of the 2nd Utah Outdoor Recreation Summit.
Why do events like this matter to the cycling community? One of core values at eSpokes is ebike advocacy. While the ebike industry is still gaining traction, it’s crucial to meet with like-minded individuals and policy makers.
Today, we met with representatives of the Bureau of Land Management, Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Moab, Cedar City, and other many other cities throughout Utah. It’s encouraging to hear their enthusiasm for ebikes and their recognition of the benefits that come from a strong ebike industry.
Additionally, we met with Utah State Parks directors and discussed ways to get more people in our beautiful state parks by embracing ebike riders in the parks.
Events like this communicate to economic partners that Utah is serious about outdoor recreation. We love our beautiful state and are excited that ebikes are a welcomed way to experience LIFE ELEVATED in Utah.
